Barbie was a highly discussed topic around the world, even before its release, and even by men. Recently, Margot Robbie shared that she surprised a group of men in a UK establishment after hearing them talking about her movie. Read on to find out more about this hilarious situation!

Margot Robbie’s Unexpected Surprise

Everything happened on a Saturday night in Scotland. A group of men were sitting in an establishment discussing the Barbie movie, not knowing that Margot Robbie herself could hear them.

Let’s not forget that Barbie became the highest-grossing movie of 2023 and quickly became the talk of the town. Of course, the more popular the film is, the more people’s opinions will vary.

Robbie Confronted the Men

It turns out that Robbie had been sitting there for over 30 minutes listening to the men discussing the movie she stars in. One of the guys described the film as “a cultural moment he wanted to be a part of.” One of his friends had said he would never go see it, but by the end of the night, he had changed his mind.

Of course, the moment wouldn’t have been as fun if Margot hadn’t joined them. The actress said she went to their table to personally thank them for watching the movie. She added that their reactions were hilarious, and it took them a while to realize what was going on. She had already left.

Barbie’s Oscar Nominations

This might come as a surprise for fans, but Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig weren’t nominated for the Best Actress and Best Director awards. However, the actress wasn’t disappointed. She said she felt blessed to be a part of this movie and for the eight nominations it received.
